Heritage Preservation Award Presented
The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce presented its 2021 Heritage Preservation Award to the Bedford Memorial Park Conservancy, saying:
"In a region as rich in historical assets as Bedford County, the Heritage Preservation Award, sponsored by Larry Gillman, LG Direct, is a special honor, recognizing a business, organization, or individual who has shown a significant commitment to safeguarding and celebrating our local heritage and its place in the history of the United States."

That is exactly what a small band of volunteers has been doing for many years through for Bedford’s Memorial Park. This quaint park is a showpiece of downtown Bedford, a resting place for many, and snapshot of days gone by."
